Position: Psychologist
Status: Part-Time
Location: Preference for candidates based in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, and Tampa, FL. 
 
Compensation: $200-$250 per hour; commensurate with experience.

Intent Clinical offers a continuum of services to guide individuals and families through the behavioral health industry by providing concierge-level care, identifying suitable treatment and aftercare options, and assisting in creating and implementing sustainable care plans. We help address the needs of children, adults, and families navigating neurodevelopmental conditions, behavioral health issues including mood and personality disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders, and aging-related cognitive, physical, and mood changes.

The right candidate will be a strong listener, observer and communicator.  You will feel comfortable working one-on-one with a client, but also thrive presenting to a larger group.  You are a connector and enjoy cultivating relationships.  Lastly, you will have the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and support inclusive environments. 

What you’ll do:
Clinical
  • Provide clinical assessment services within the scope of licensure and as deemed appropriate to meet client need. 
  • Conduct psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments and facilitate the successful execution and completion of assessment engagements, including administration of selected batteries, clinical interview(s), record review, delivery of a detailed report, and feedback session.
  • Provide second opinion and consultation on behavioral health related questions to clients and Intent Clinical team members.
  • Additional duties will be assigned as deemed appropriate.
Administrative
  • Maintain up-to-date and organized records and reports in electronic health record. 
  • Produce necessary client documentation in a timely manner.
  • Submit time and expenses weekly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
 
What you'll bring:
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA accredited educational institution.
  • Active psychology license that is in good standing, with no history of disciplinary action.
  • Training in psychological/neuropsychological assessment with at least 3 years of experience in the practice and delivery of psychological assessment services.
  • Problem-solving capabilities that combine long-term strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
  • Ability to effectively supervise staff with a focus on their professional growth.
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
 
Ideally you have (but not required):
  • PSYPACT Licensure
  • Active psychology license in the state of California, NY or Florida that is in good standing, with no history of disciplinary action.
  • Experience with children and adolescents
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, psychology or the healthcare industry
  • An understanding of social responsibility and how to contribute positively to the well- being of others.
